Emma’s Garden Launches Scan & Go with MishiPay

Emma’s garden is a wholesale nursery on Long Island supplying garden and houseplants to retail businesses throughout the Northeast.
Customers can skip the long queues with MishiPay’s Scan & Go App. Given the uniqueness of a nursery, MishiPay developed a new approach for:
- browsing and scanning plants (no barcodes)
- identifying the shopper and the retail partner
- segmenting the customer based on tax paying and tax free
- as well as providing the correct price, based on the associated company and applicable discounts
MishiPay started by developing a unique QR code for every plant, in order to help the shoppers scan & add the correct item to their basket. The identification of every customer was based on a business email address. MishiPay developed a unique integration to Emma’s Garden CRM in order to seamlessly connect and retrieve all important information.
MishiPay’s Promotion Engine handles the discount logic and MisiPay’s inhouse built tax-service determines the final amount to be paid. Payments are completed seamlessly on the user’s phone, offering a unique new approach to shopping.
